Thank you for organizing and giving us the opportunity to serve through Guru’s divine naad. ![]() It was wonderful to play in the SDIA tent. Best wishes and Gratitude, Mahan Rishi Sngh Thank you for the opportunity to talk on Guru Arjan Dev in the SDI tent…It was a great joy and honor. Sat Nam Sada Bahar Kaur and Pritpal Singh It was my pleasure, as always! It is always a gift to me to speak about Guru Gobind Singh ji. Thanks for holding that space so gracefully. Great that the tent was a little larger than last year’s. and the Chinese students were already there, setting up their mats to get a ‘good seat’. It’s surprising and inspiring to see so many eager folks go straight from sadhana/gurdwara to Bowing Jaap Sahib. I hope we can do it again next year! Thanks for everything. I loved it! I was surprised how many people were there. Here’s what some of the teachers and musicians said about their experience: From hosting more than 20 inspiring classes by very dynamic, long time sangat members and ministers to beautiful evening kirtan programs by talented and inspirational ragis to daily Kirtan Sohaila as the last thing each night to send people off to a peaceful slumber. Our SDI Academy Tent was bustling many hours each day. Sikh Dharma Ministers gathered for their annual Summer Solstice meeting in the SDI Academy tent to meditate, share and connect with one another. It was great to share that experience with people and help them better understand the wonderful technologies our lifestyle has to offer. Our staff tied about 150-200 turbans on people trying it out for the first time. The SDI booth was a source of connection for people to purchase their “5-Ks”, or simply a kara to wear for the first time to buy a nitnem to learn Japji better and support their practice to purchase and tie their first turban. The Moose Pass Summer Solstice Festival is an annual event featuring live music, dancing, booths, bake sale, auction, kayak race. Summer Solstice 2016 was once again a transforming experience for many – a time for people at various stages of their spiritual journey, from all over the world, to come together to grow in consciousness and share our beautiful teachings and way of life with one another. ![]()
